HAWAI’I HANDSHAPES
All Hawai’i orders are hand shaped on the island of Kauai.
Orders are open year-round and can be shipped inter-island or picked up at my shop on island - There are a few limitations for Hawai’i orders:
1) I can not ship internationally or to the mainland from Hawai’i. Any order for anywhere else in the world should go through my CA/Intl. orders batches.
2) For the 2026/2027 season I am only doing clear or airbrush boards - no resin tints at this time unless we discuss when we talk about your order, the timing for resin color on island is unpredictable and causes very long waits.

Turnaround time and price varies depending on your order, clear glass jobs and simple stringers get done much quicker and easier. Larger boards and specific stringer orders add time as these blanks are not available on Kauai without ordering from California or Oahu (if we’re lucky). Average timing is 12-15 weeks, depending.
Please be advised since we have minimal infrastructure on-island for production board building, that timelines can change drastically throughout the year and board to board, I can only handle about 5-8 boards at a time in my small shop, and I get blanks by barge every few weeks, so wait times can be long.

Orders built for and in Hawai’i can be picked up on Kauai, or shipped inter-island.

Currently for color work I am only offering clear or airbrush, no resin color unless built in California and shipped.
Shipping inter-island is about $80 per board.
